Major Championships


The Masters – Rory McIlroy

Rory McIlroy clinched his first major title in 11 years at Augusta National, defeating Justin Rose in a playoff. This victory completed McIlroy's career Grand Slam, joining an elite group of golfers who have won each of the four major championships.

U.S. Open – J.J. Spaun

At Oakmont Country Club, J.J. Spaun secured his maiden major championship with a 1-under-par total of 279, finishing two strokes ahead of runner-up Robert MacIntyre.


PGA Championship – Scottie Scheffler

Scottie Scheffler dominated the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow, finishing at 11-under-par, five strokes clear of Bryson DeChambeau, Harris English, and Davis Riley. This marked Scheffler's third major title.


The Open Championship – Scottie Scheffler

Scheffler continued his stellar season by winning The Open at Royal Portrush with a 17-under-par score of 267, four strokes ahead of Harris English. This victory brought him within one U.S. Open title of completing the career Grand Slam.



Ryder Cup – Europe Retains the Cup

In a thrilling contest at Bethpage Black, Team Europe held off a strong comeback by the United States to retain the Ryder Cup with a 15–13 victory. Shane Lowry's birdie on the 18th hole secured the crucial half-point needed for Europe to reach the 14-point mark required to retain the Cup Ryder Cup. Despite a hostile crowd, including incidents involving player families, Europe's unity and resilience prevailed.
