"Past my junior career, I have continued to play competitive golf while working towards my bachelor’s degree at Cal State San Marcos. I joined the Goat Hill Park Mne’s Club back in 2022 and have since won multiple tournaments playing against high-level amateurs and former professionals. I am currently working on my long-term goal of qualifying for the U.S. Amateur.
My success in competitive golf would not have been possible without Brian helping me improve my swing through many years of lessons and hard work. At the beginning of my journey, it was not apparent at all that I would eventually become a plus handicap golfer and be able to compete with the best amateurs in California. However, through Brian’s instruction and my dedication to implementing his advice, I have reached the level I am at today. It took weekly lessons, various new techniques, and lots of time practicing on the range and the course.
Brian was patient with my progress the entire way. There were times when it seemed near-impossible for me to correct flaws in my swing, but Brian kept encouraging me and helped me remain positive, and I would eventually overcome the obstacles with enough practice.
Brian is a world-class instructor who has helped me become the golfer I am today. He knows so much about the golf swing and can help anyone make positive changes regardless of what they struggle with. I highly recommend his instruction to anyone who is looking to improve their golf game" - Ryan T.

A Note of Gratitude
Reading this means more to me than any trophy or title ever could.
Watching a young player grow from potential to performance — and from performance to belief — is why I teach. What stands out most in this journey isn’t just the wins or the plus handicap. It’s the commitment to weekly work, the willingness to embrace change, and the resilience to push through the frustrating periods when progress doesn’t come easily.
Becoming a high-level player is never about one swing thought or one breakthrough lesson. It’s about patience, trust, repetition, and the courage to stay the course when things feel uncertain. That’s exactly what this player did.
I also want to recognize the enormous role his parents have played. High-level junior and amateur golf doesn’t happen in isolation. It takes sacrifice — time, travel, financial support, and steady encouragement. Their belief in him, their consistency, and their willingness to invest in his development created the foundation that allowed him to grow. As coaches, we guide the process, but families often make the journey possible.
Coaching is always a partnership. I can guide, demonstrate, and encourage — but the player has to do the work. The hours on the range, the uncomfortable swing changes, the mental discipline in competition — that’s where real growth happens.
Seeing him now competing at a high level and pursuing the U.S. Amateur is incredibly rewarding. I couldn’t be more proud.
To every player reading this: improvement is possible at any level. With the right plan, consistent effort, family support, and belief in the process, ceilings can move.
Thank you for the trust.
